As we brace for the coming smartphone bonanza this fall, which device will you want more? Google’s next Nexus smartphone (Nexus 4) or the iPhone 5? Both will arrive sometime this fall, offering customers with a choice that is becoming increasingly between not just two OS’s, but two types of devices.
At WWDC Apple unveiled its plans for iOS 6, to only be matched by a Google company announcing Jelly Bean (Android 4.1) at Google I/O 2012. Google also unveiled a variety of Nexus devices (Nexus 7 and Nexus Q) that will work in conjunction with Jelly Bean. So as the word “Nexus” becomes synonymous with Apple’s “iProducts,” the fight has never been closer for device supremacy.
We will see Apple reveal the iPhone 5 first in October (potentially August), with Google’s next Nexus device (Nexus 4) more than likely trailing behind shortly. As both companies prepare to have smartphone offerings before the holiday season, which device are you more excited about? Vote below.
